One word: Fawful!
In my opinion this along with Miiverse and VC are the best features of Wii U.
Media Create sales covered the week from Sept 15th to 21st, Bayonetta was released on Sept 20th, the sales covered only 2 days, so, in a week it should be closer to ~135000. The game is crazy amazing regardless.
I honestly disagree with this review, the game is more fun and is better designed than what the reviewer suggests.
If in doubt, check this video:

Digital Foundry strikes again, notice how they word everything in that article to make the game look bad before its release as they did with their MK8 "analysis", compare that to how they get out of their way to cover all the shortcomings in almost every big budget overhyped game, you should know better not to fall into that.
From everything I saw from the previews and LIVE gameplay demonstration, the game looks silky smooth with so many things happening at once all...
You can never defeat me in Smash Bros!!
I'll get both versions starting with the 3DS since it's released earlier. Yes, you're right, the 3DS version is different, it has a new different campaign called Smash Run and some exclusive stages that's different from the Wii U stages.
Great timeless game, if you haven't played it yet then please try to, it's never too late to experience a classic.
Nintendo would be doing a big mistake if they don't localize this game, beside it being one of my top favorite horror series (up their with old-school RE and SH), the central gameplay mechanic is perfect for the gamepad, it would be a great showcase for the Wii U and a an excellent exclusive to add to the constantly growing exclusive lineup on offer.
I'd say make ZombiU 2 instead, WD is nice and all especially if the gamepad is used to make the hacking and remote camera control and viewing more complex and engaging, but the problem is that almost everyone who's been interested in playing WD have already did so on one or another of the bazillion systems it was released for. Besides, ZombiU has a more interesting design and gameplay, at least for me!
Imagine a more complex ZombiU experience with better utilization...
Just scrap that and do a proper Zombi U sequel. That would be much better for everyone especially for us, gamers.
Pachter and those who like his "opinions" about Nintendo amuse me, they couldn't be any further from the truth or even common sense. Nintendo is the only company currently that is successfully supporting TWO gaming machines in the market with excellent games and Add on content, doing that ALONE with no meaningful 3rd party support and with such negative press. Now take Sony for example, the PS4 is very successful from sales perspective and that's good for the average western...
I expect a very bright future for this game. I packed it the moment I saw the gameplay clip and concept art on Kickstarter.
It depends on the games you like as ARESWARLORD said, for me I went with WiiU/PC/3DS this gen, I'll be getting a PS4/X1 down the road when they receive quality exclusives. In the end, enjoy whatever you choose.
@Brandon T: Let them complain and let us enjoy the games!
Not to mention it's coming to the Vita. Now analyze that!
Minecraft is an Indie game and those are VERY successful on Wii U, besides the fact that this game in particular will greatly benefit from the Gamepad controls. I'll just stop at that.
DK rules!! Seriously, his Amiibo is awesome!
I agree, but wait until you play DKC:TF, it'll shoot up to the top of your list given its quality... and your avatar ;)
If Nintendo is insulting the industry by making top notch games and DLC, I think the industry needs more insults of that kind. It's Ubisoft, EA and others like them that insult the industry as well as gamers. Major blame also falls on the gamers who fall for hype and advertising then get disappointed with games like Ass Creed Unity, Driveclub, WD, KZ:SF etc, then GO, SUPPORT and BUY every sequel these companies push every year despite how broken or disappointing their previous experiences...
